Wednesday 22 March The teams arrive in the afternoon : please come and pick them up between 15:00 and 18:00. Even if your pupils arrive before 15:00, do not come earlier to avoid disturbing the school’s organization.
We will send each school (EEB1,2,3,4) the list of parents coming to pick up the pupils so they can have access to the school sites. Thursday 23 March and Friday 24 March Competitions start at 09:00 Centre Mounier: volleyball boys on Thursday, volleyball girls on Friday Address: Centre Sportif de la Woluwe, asbl 87, av. Emmanuel Mounier 1200 Woluwe-Saint-Lambert EEB2 : Football girls and badminton on Thursday, football boys on Friday Address: 75, av. Oscar Jespers 1200 Woluwe-Saint-Lambert The pupils playing volleyball can come directly to the Centre Mounier at 08:30 or arrive at EEB2 at 08:15. If the students arrive in EEB2 they will travel together to Mounier (which is very close) by coach. Please give pupils a picnic lunch as well as a bottle of water if they don’t have one (they can fill it back up throughout the day). Transport and arrival on Thursday and Friday morning Departure from Uccle (EEB1) at 7h15. Participants must be at school at 7h00. Departure from Ixelles (EEB3) at 7h30. Participants must be at school at 7h15. Departure from Laeken (EEB4) at 7h15. Participants must be at school at 7h00. Woluwe (EEB2): Participants must be at school at 8h15. You can drop your host (s) off at whichever school is most convenient for you, no matter which school your children attend. You can make sure pupils can travel by public transportation, for example with one of your children going to EEB2 or also taking part in Eurosport. The school is accessible by public transport via the metro station Roodebeek (15-20 minutes’ walk) or bus stop “Jespers” on line 29 (in front of the school entrance) or bust stop “Marcel Thiry” on line 42 and 45 (less than 5 minutes’ walk). If you are considering this option, please discuss it with you host’s parents when you contact them. If your children habitually go to the Woluwe school using the APEEE’s buses and you would like to host to take the bus, you need to contact the APEEE’s transport office ([email protected]) to ask them if they have a place available on their route for your host, and if there is, to book it for them. Transport and arrival on Thursday and Friday evening Competitions end around 17:30. The Eurosport buses leave the EEB2 around 18:00. They will arrive at the other schools around : Uccle (EEB1) : 18h45-19h Ixelles (EEB3) : 18h30 Laeken (EEB4) : 18h45-19h You can also come and collect them at the EEB2 from 17:45 or make sur they can travel to your house by public transport, with one of your children attending EEB2 or participating in Eurosport.(Pupils who are at Mounier will come back to the EEB2 by coach together: all pupils will be at EEB2 at 17:45.) Please note : the regular APEEE buses leave Woluwe before the end of the competitions in the evening and are therefore not an option for evening transportation from school. Ill pupils do not stay with the families during the day: they come to the EEB2 as if they weren’t ill and will be put in the care of their school’s coordinator. Can pupils go out in the evenings? You can take the pupils out to see Brussels or to eat if you want, but for safety reasons we ask you not to let them go out alone or with other participants. Merci de donner aux élèves un piquenique pour le midi ainsi qu’une bouteille d’eau s’ils n’ont pas leur gourde (ils pourront la remplir d’eau toute la journée). Vous pouvez également vous assurer qu’ils puissent faires les trajets en transports en commun, par exemple avec un de vos enfants élève à l’EEB2 ou participant également à Eurosport. L’école est accessible en transports en commun via la station de métro Roodebeek (15-20 minutes à pied) ou les arrêts du bus 29 à « Jespers » (en face de l’entrée de l’école), et du bus 42 et 45 « Marcel Thiry » (moins de 5 minutes à pied de l’école). Si vous envisagez cette option, nous vous invitons à en discuter avec les parents de votre hôte lorsque vous les contactez. Enfin si vos enfants se rendent habituellement à l’école de Woluwe le matin avec un bus de l’APEEE et que vous souhaitez que votre hôte prenne le bus, vous devez contacter les services de transport de l’APEEE ([email protected]) afin de leur demander si une place est disponible pour votre hôte et, le cas échéant, la réserver auprès d’eux. Transports et départs jeudi et vendredi soir Les compétitions se terminent vers 17h30. Les bus spéciaux d’Eurosport quitteront l’école vers 18h. Ils arriveront aux autres écoles approximativement aux heures suivantes : Uccle (EEB1) : 18h45-19h Ixelles (EEB3) : 18h30 Laeken (EEB4) : 18h45-19h Vous pouvez également venir chercher les élèves à l’EEB2 à partir de 17h45 ou vous assurer qu’ils puissent faire les trajets en transports en commun, avec un de vos enfants élève de l’EEB2 ou participant à Eurosport. (Les élèves qui sont au centre Mounier reviendront en groupe en car à l’EEB2 : tous les élèves seront donc à l’EEB2 à 17h45). Remarque importante : les bus de l’APEEE de Woluwe quittant le site de l’école avant la fin des matchs, ceux-ci ne constituent pas une option pour les trajets du soir. Tous les élèves sont invités au barbecue, vous ne devez donc pas leur fournir de pique nique. FAQ Comment accéder aux écoles EEB1, EEB2, EEB3, EEB4 ? Les élèves peuvent-ils sortir le soir? Vous pouvez emmener les élèves découvrir Buxelles ou manger avec eux si vous le souhaitez mais nous vous demandons pour des raisons de sécurité de ne pas les laisser sortir seuls ou entre eux. N’oubliez pas qu’ils participent à une compétition sportive et qu’ils ont besoin de se reposer.
